CRM Configuration#
Owners and admins can open CRM → Settings. Configuration belongs only to the current organization.
Pipelines and stages#
Create separate pipelines for different sales processes. Each pipeline contains ordered stages with a name, color, and probability. Reordering changes the board without rewriting stage history.
Hanko creates a starter pipeline the first time CRM is opened. You can rename it, add more pipelines, or choose another default. Archive unused pipelines or stages instead of deleting them; restore them at any time.
Custom fields#
Create fields for companies, contacts, or deals. Supported types are text, long text, number, currency, date, boolean, single select, multi-select, URL, and email. Select fields require at least one configured option.
Fields can be required, reordered, archived, and restored. Archived definitions and their historical values are retained. Required fields are enforced for active definitions during CRM creates and updates.
Contacts created by an existing billing or public-intake workflow remain valid canonical contacts. CRM marks an incomplete profile and requires its active fields to be completed before the contact can be added to a new deal, company, activity, proposal, invoice, or manual commercial link. Adding a required field later does not break conversion or lineage repair for proposals, agreements, recurring invoices, or invoices that were already linked.
Tags and lost reasons#
Tags are reusable labels for companies, contacts, and deals. Give each tag a clear name and optional color. Lost reasons provide a consistent explanation when a deal is marked lost, which keeps reporting usable.
Archive values that are no longer used. Existing assignments and lost deal history remain intact.
